Problem-solving is a moment-by-moment occurrence for leaders. Whether you are approached with a problem that is specific to you or one that affects your team, there are no one-size-fits-all solutions—despite your best intentions.
The Complete Leader curriculum addresses two types of problems—those that are “tame” and those that are a “wicked mess.” The challenge for leaders is that we often spend a great deal of time on the “wicked mess” problems and leave the “tame” issues to work themselves out. In this Personal Leadership Hour, we'll discuss understanding how your values, behaviors and thinking styles distract or support your problem-solving efforts.
In this session, you will discover:
- 3 different problem-solving styles
- How to properly define a problem in order to apply the best solution
- The role of personal accountability in good problem-solving
