Essentials for Developing New Leaders
Jaime Lisk | Leadership coach, performance trainer, facilitator and HR expert

Growing new leaders isn’t as simple as creating a succession plan with the C-Suite. The growth of tomorrow’s leaders takes an intentional company culture, understanding generational differences, and empowering individuals to succeed. This discussion will challenge you to consider how you are supporting the growth of new leaders and encourage you to consider best practices for your organization.

Participants will learn 3 approaches to empower new leaders, understand trends in intergenerational leadership, and discover best practices to integrate with their organizations tomorrow. If you want to empower your next generation of leaders, this session is for you.

Curbing Burnout: The Unique Challenges of Senior Leaders
Ron Price | Business and strategy advisor, executive coach and author

Nearly 96% of senior leaders report feeling burned out--and one-third describe their burnout as extreme, according to The Wall Street Journal. Most leadership development isn't focused on senior leaders. Does this mean that once someone becomes a senior leader, they are finished growing? Not according to Ron Price, who has served in senior leadership roles for over 40 years. Ron will lead this session with a focus on the unique challenges and opportunities of executives in today’s world--and demonstrate why continued growth is critical for senior leaders.

Attendees will learn how to use the increased influence of senior leadership for good, understand the unique challenges of self-care for senior leaders, and understand the growth pathway in a leader’s mindset, skills, and relationships. This session is for senior leaders who want to continue to grow their success and personal fulfillment, those who support or serve senior leaders, and those who care about the effectiveness of senior leaders.

The Secret to Strategy That Works
Dr. Francis Eberle | Leadership and organizational advisor, author and non-profit expert & Dr. Timothy Waema | Professor, information systems expert, strategist and author

Straight from the soon-to-be-released book, Optimizing Strategy for Results, this session will uncover why the people factor is the secret to both developing a great strategy and achieving exceptional results in strategy execution. This session will review the seven stages of strategy laid out in the new book, explore the key people challenges in each stage, and give attendees tools to address them.

Participants will understand how to involve their people in developing and executing strategy, be able to identify and address skill gaps at the various stages of strategy, and review their organization’s strategy processes to address the issues that prevent outstanding results. This session is for anyone who wants a fresh approach to strategy that reaches across business goals, departments and teams.

Using the Lessons of 2020 to Your Advantage
Dale Dixon | Chief Innovation Officer, speaking advisor, thought leader and author

Innovators make a lot more money, especially during a crisis! McKinsey research shows companies that invest in growth initiatives throughout the economic cycle emerge ahead of the pack, generating almost 17% higher total returns to shareholders (TRS) coming out of a downturn than businesses that hunker down during a crisis. You figured out how to work from home, serve your customers in new ways and navigate a global pandemic. You practiced flexibility, persistence and grace. You innovated! In this session, we’ll take what we learned in pivoting fast and hard during the past year and really put it to work for long-term success – personally and professionally.

Participants will be able to take the ingredients of preparation, curiosity, and luck (yes, even luck!), to be ready for the roller coaster that IS the new normal. Be ready to seize the moment in the next crisis. If March 2020, seems like a lifetime ago and the past dozen-plus months are a blur, this session is for you. We’ll learn from the past to prepare for the future.

Innovating Leadership: Leading at the Speed of Change
Dr. Evans Baiya | Technology and innovation strategist, leadership advisor and author & Tanja Yardley | Former national healthcare VP, leadership and innovation advisor

We are living in the age of change. Customers, employees, work environments, marketplaces, politics, and more are shifting, often rapidly. Leaders are tasked with navigating organizations through the rough waters of change, but they cannot survive fluctuations around them without changing themselves. How then should a leader change within to match external change? This requires an innovation mindset and much more.

Attendees will learn to measure how they currently match leadership to change contexts, how to analyze the different types of change occurring around them, and how to re-invent themselves to lead relevantly in the age of change. If you are on your leader’s journey, particularly now in the 22nd century COVID age, you will find this session fruitful.
