Goal Achievement

Definition: Ability to identify and prioritize activities that lead to a goal.

Those with a capacity for goal achievement can execute a plan to get the desired results. This skill relies on the other four competencies in the Leaders Lead Themselves section: self-management and personal accountability aided by flexibility and resiliency. In other words, goal achievement is the end result of leaders leading themselves. In this section, you will learn tools to establish achievable goals, identify and implement objectives, and take action toward goal accomplishment.
